Remodels, small to large
Whether it is a small bathroom or a whole house, we can handle your remodel. Kitchen and bathroom remodeling, additions, and office and home renovations.
Radiant floor heating
Electric radiant floor heating is by far the most efficient way to warm tile. Unlike forced air, it wastes no heat pushing air through ducts or warming the ceiling, and because you feel warmer, the thermostat can be set lower. Enjoy warm tile in your bathroom, kitchen or basement while reducing energy costs up to 40% with electric radiant in-floor heating mats.

Lighting for warehouses, shops and signs
High bay fixtures over a shop floor, sign lighting, street lighting and landscape lighting. We design, install and retrofit commercial and industrial lighting, including lighting retrofits for cost and energy savings.
Well-designed light makes a workplace safer and more pleasant, and makes customers want to come in. Commercial / industrial repairs are part of the job too: machine wiring repairs and machine shop wiring.

Tips & Safety
Informative electrical tips and safety information. A few things you may not know about the power in your home and business.
Surge Protectors
A surge protector absorbs the shock of a power surge before it reaches your equipment. Electrical devices are sensitive to shifts in current, so a good one prolongs the life of what you plug into it.
Get one with an indicator light that shows it is working. The surge-trapping part inside wears out with repeated spikes, and a worn-out protector can heat up and start a fire. Only use surge protectors with an internal circuit breaker to prevent overload or shorting.
Buy enough protection for what you plug in. Devices that total 1,000 watts on a protector rated for 800 watts are not properly protected.
Electrical Panels
Electrical panels should be examined by an electrician at least once a year. The connections in a panel heat up when power use is high and cool off again when it drops. That constant expanding and contracting loosens them, and loose connections and wires start burning.
It is a dangerous situation that is easy to avoid: have your main and sub panels checked once a year as preventive maintenance.
What direction should my ceiling fan spin?
In summer you want the fan to blow air straight down, so it should run counter clockwise as you look up at it. The warmer it is, the higher the speed.
In winter the fan should run at a low speed in a clockwise direction.
Saving electricity at home
Install ceiling insulation, keep curtains closed to hold heat in during winter and keep it out in summer, and close off unheated areas.
Don't overheat the room: raising the thermostat by 1 degree can increase costs by 3 percent. Clean heating and air conditioner filters regularly, choose energy-efficient appliances (compare the energy rating labels), and turn appliances off when you aren't using them.
The benefits of good lighting
The quality of light affects people in many ways. Well-designed lighting can lift office worker satisfaction and productivity, and people are drawn to well-lit shops, public buildings and parks.
For building owners and managers, good lighting adds value, reduces costs and makes a space feel better to be in.
Electrical safety for children
Every child should know that electricity is dangerous. Never put fingers or objects into an outlet or light bulb socket, keep appliances away from sinks and bathtubs, never touch a switch or appliance with wet hands, and unplug an appliance by the plug, never by yanking the cord.
If you see a worn, frayed or damaged cord, tell an adult right away.
